Meeting new people

I was really looking forward to this weekend. Friday was taking so long to go by I thought I was going to freak out at work. Fridays, in the summer, in AZ = very slow mortgage business. So needless to say I was almost by myself all day. We went out Friday night to a restaurant close to the house and met up with some people from Jacobs work. Everything was great and I was really excited to meet their wives. I need some friends out here. We all got a long great and from there went to another bar across the street. No joke, we walk in and the singer of the band that is there has black 80's sky high mullet! I'm thinking what the hell, and us girls all giggle together. The boys were too busy off talking work. Really, how long can we talk about this stuff? We have both been working on limiting our drinking, but lets just say that can be a little difficult. I look over at the bar where the boys are, they are doing shots. Thankfully the girls were ready to go home.

Sat and Sun were good, we just laid back and relaxed. I wasn't feeling very well so I wanted to keep it low key. Sat we went to the mall, pet store and grocery shopping. We are finally ready to put some fish in our saltwater aquarium. We just need to pick out which ones we want. Sunday we watched some DVDs we had rented and ate, a lot. I did laundry and the dishes. Guess we just needed a day to relax. The weekends just go by so fast, there is hardly time to get everything done. So that was our excitement. I'm just glad the rest of the weekend wasn't like Friday night.
