These last few nights I have been having some very odd dreams. One of which is a reoccurring dream that I have had for years. Last nights dream however, was disturbing.... I am usually pretty good at analyzing what my dreams represent, but there was so much going on in this dream that I am seriously confused. Does this mean I have too much going on in my life right now, probably. I know the main "feelings" I had were confusion, fear, the need to protect someone, and hiding from something that was going to come get me. Geez!!! The dream started out fine, with a group of people fishing, we caught a few very large fish. Then we heard rumbling, and saw Camels, in a line running down from the top of the valley. The first few ran down and jumped into the water, we found this amusing. Then they started coming faster, with Indians riding them. Somehow, I ended up protecting a little girl and comforting her, so she would not be frightened. Below are some of the explanations that I found.....
Fish
To dream that you are fishing, signifies energy and frugality.
Water
To see muddy or dirty water in your dream, indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. If you are immersed in muddy water, then it indicates that you are in over your head in a situation and are overwhelmed by your emotions.
Children
To save a child, signifies your attempts to save a part of yourself from being destroyed.
Indian
To see an Indian in your dream, represents the primitive and instinctual aspect of yourself. You need to be in more control of your waking-life situations and surroundings. You also need to be more self-reliant and exercise your personal power. Alternatively, this dream symbolizes honesty, dedication, and wisdom.
Camel
To see a camel in your dream, denotes that you need to be more conservative; you are carrying too many problems on your shoulders. You tend to hold on and cling on to your emotions instead of expressing and releasing them. You need to learn to forgive and forget. Alternatively, it represents you potential for handling big problems, responsibilities, and burdens.
Hiding
To dream that you are hiding, suggests that you are keeping some secret or withholding some information. You may not be facing up to a situation or not want to deal with an issue. However, you may be getting ready to reveal and confess before somebody finds out.
To dream that you are somebody else is hiding, indicates a need for security and protection. In particular, to dream that you are hiding from some authority figure (police, parents, teacher...), implies feelings of guilt.
The one I couldn't find though, Sasquatch. There were LOTS of them and I was terrified! These came after the Indians (100's of them) were doing some type of ceremony around the lake/valley we were fishing in. The Sasquatches were out to kill all of us, they seemed to be in a fight with the Indians. From that scene I end up by myself in a house. I am trying to lock all the doors I can to protect myself from the aliens that are at the door. Only to find out that they can get into my head and know exactly how to enter the house. They even changed in appearance to look more "acceptable" to me. So they would be someone I wasn't afraid of I assume.
The only problem here, I am truly not hiding anything from anyone. In my dreams, I'm not even sure who I am hiding from for the most part. Except last night, it was aliens.....
To see aliens in your dream , signifies that you are having difficulties adapting and adjusting to your new surroundings. You are feeling "alienated" and invaded. You are also having difficulties in how to handle or deal with a certain situation or person. On a psychological level, seeing aliens may represent an encounter with an unfamiliar or neglected aspect of your own self.
After putting all of this information together I can only come to the conclusion that this dream has to represent the issues I have with my mother. We did get into a disagreement last night, and was based on her anger with me not doing things the way she wants. I stood my ground only to have it end up with her hanging up on me and expecting me to apologize to her. There was nothing for me to apologize for, and I assume what I could be hiding is my feelings towards her and the way she treats me. The only problem, there will never be a resolution to this.... If anyone has any other input, please share! I need to deal with these inner demons!

Just a fear of heights
Well, Jacob put up Christmas lights outside a few days ago, and we did plug in the lights before we hung them but guess what.... Yes, of course we had a bulb out somewhere and half the lights didn't work. So today I went out there with the ladder and took down the old lights and put new ones up. It would have taken way tooo long to go through the lights to see which one was burnt out. The only problem, I have a big fear of heights. LOL even being on the first step on the ladder freaked me out but I managed to climb it and do the task I set out to do. I have to say, I'm very proud of myself :) I will add pictures of the outside later, but for now here is our tree.

Meeerrrry Christmas
Today I put up the tree with Jacobs help. I was so excited, I love to decorate the tree, and this year I got to do it the way I wanted to :) We bought a few more decorations yesterday and more lights. We also decorated the outside of house. The second story was a little too high for us to get to. Since we have a tile roof we thought it was best Jacob didn't go climbing around up there.
My sister and nephew are in town so we are going to my parents house tomorrow for Sauerbraten MMmmmm. I LOVE Sauerbraten. My Mom told my sister that she has to stand there and watch her make it since my brother and I both know how to. That is the one thing I am really thankful for, my Mom is an awesome cook and I paid attention. I have to say that I am a pretty good cook. Jacob agrees, and so do our bellies LOL. What can I say Germans don't exactly know how to cook low fat. I do try my best to alter the recipes as much as possible.
So now I guess we should think about Christmas shopping. We are spending so much money on the wedding its hard to think about presents. I have a few things I would like, jewelry... always jewelry :) Jacob of course wants a huge flat screen t.v. like the one he has isn't good enough LOL This one he wants to put in the bedroom, we already have a big one in the bedroom too. Its just our room is so big that its kinda far away, but really now. Boys and their toys :)

Oh so full

Yesterday went well. I cooked WAY too much food, there was only four of us. Just the appetizers alone probably would have done LOL I loved the spinach artichoke dip that I made though. Jacob was on call, but didn't get one, not one! I was very excited about that!
We woke up at 630 to get the turkey ready. We smoked it this year, so Jacobs job was to get the smoker ready. We had a 20 pound turkey, HUGE for just 4 of us. My parents showed up at about 1 with the pies. We ate about 330 and were miserably full! My parents left around 530, then we just laid around and watched our shows that were on last night. Earlier in the day we watched Shrek the Third, very cute!

The countdown begins
Well, I feel like I have made some major accomplishments this last week :) I have my dress and all that's needed to wear it, I took down to my parents house yesterday. I tried it on for them. I need to have it hemmed but otherwise its a pretty good fit. My Dad went down to the country club and booked everything for the lake ceremony. We changed the time from 430 to 5. The sun should be at a good spot then. We went and got my Mom something to wear and had a pretty fun time trying on some spanks LOL. We went to a few places for cake, but no luck yet. I got our wedding invitations and I printed them all, I only had a few mishaps :) Jacob has been working a lot these last few weeks and was on call this weekend so we didn't make it to the tux place. He has an idea of the one he wants to wear so hopefully we will get that knocked out this week along with the cake.
Thanksgiving is coming up so fast! I have to clean the house and pick up a few more things from the store, but other than that I'm ready to have everyone over. Jacob is on call that day too, I hope he doesn't get too many calls. I think I will set the Christmas tree up too a little early or I'm afraid I won't have time.
Business at my salon has picked up a little I did a few clients last week and also went on a job interview for a part time position at a bank. I have started to be a little more choosy about what I am applying for. I really need to stick to part time positions that pay fairly well and offer benefits.
Friday we went to dinner The Cheesecake Factory, it was awesome! Then we watched 1408 while laying in bed. Needless to say I couldn't fall asleep until about 2. Its not that the movie was that scary, but ghost movies get me! Creepy.... Saturday Jacob had to go on calls and was gone most of the day and night, I was trying to pick out wedding music and was crying like a loony person LOL. Good crys though :) Sunday Jacob dropped me off at my parents on his way to a call down their way and I helped my mom make all the food for the barbecue that she was having. When my brother and his family came, I let him take over so I could finish entering all the address' into my computer for the wedding invites. My mom means well, but she just can't do all the work she used to so everyone else ends up making everything while she supervises :)Food was great though and Jacob was able to get back just in time to eat.

Soooo confused
Seriously, I don't know how Jacob puts up with me LOL. I am very indecisive... In this past week I have accepted a job went out and bought scrubs and then decided I shouldn't take the job. So, I had to call the people and tell them I was unable to accept the position then call my salon and tell them I would be staying on full time and return my scrubs. Geez!! I annoy myself sometimes :) Thankfully Jacob stands by me with whatever decision's I make and in some cases has to tell me what I should do. Thank god for him!!!
We have also decided on a date for our wedding, December 31st. We are so excited! It is very short notice, but we already had in mind what we wanted to do. So I have lots of planning to do, and a wedding dress to buy. I went with my parents last week to try on a few that I liked. Of course we know how my decision making skills are LOL. So, no dress yet. Jacob and I went out on Sunday and tried some of the food that we are going to have catered for our reception. So we are getting there, slowly.
A friend and I haven't spoke for a few months. I tried to patch things up but there is only so much I can say. I realized that there was an incident I needed to apologize for and I did, but that's all I can do. Nothing that happened was to intentionally hurt anyone, but unfortunately some people haven't learned that you need to look at the whole situation, and the source. While I'm peeved at someone for the things they said to start all of this I am a big enough person to realize their intentions weren't to hurt anyone either. So, I am pretty confident in saying I have lost a friend in all this, but if they really were my friend we would have been able to work through this. One day this person will realize how difficult they are. Everything works both ways and for a reason. I have plenty of friends and while I will miss this person, I have new memories to make.

Woo hoo
Well, I have a second interview today and the other interview I had on Friday is supposed to be making decisions today. So will see what happens. When I was looking when we first moved out here I was offered 3 jobs in one day, the problem, I obviously picked the wrong one being that the market crashed and I was laid off. I just keep telling myself that things happen for a reason. Of course when I was off interviewing on Friday I had a lady that wanted in for a pedi mani, which would have been good money. It always has to happen like that doesn't it! I had a full set on Saturday that was a no show. So I headed back home to find out I was locked out of the house. (Remember we lost my keys)I was paranoid and locked the door from the garage to the house the night before. Since I was driving his truck, I didn't go out the garage. So I had to wait for Jacob to get home from a call he had to go on. Thankfully that was his only one all day! Yea! Then he told me he had a surprise for me. Which drives me crazy!! :) I HAVE to know things! He made me wait it out though, we went to lunch first. We were trying to find the Cheesecake Factory but gave up and went to Fudruckers. I have never been to either place, so I was fine with whatever. After lunch he told me that he wanted to take me on a shopping spree. What a cutie I know! I have got to be one of the only girls I know that hates shopping for clothes. Lets just say, this booty of mine makes it hard to find jeans. LOL I'm too skinny in the waist compared to my butt so I always have this gap at the top, geez! So, I got a purse and some new slippers :) He wasn't satisfied with that so he told me we would just save the rest of the money until I found what I wanted. While we were at the mall we got a call from someone that had my keys! Woo hoo! On the way home we picked them up from the guys and of course had to mention how we had an alarm on our house and a huge dog. He was a young kid, so hopefully he doesn't do anything stupid. That night we watched Mr Brooks and relaxed. Sunday morning Jacob had a call at 7 so I slept in and by the time I woke up he was back home. We went to breakfast and I knew what I wanted with the rest of my money. A Hoover floor cleaner! I know, I'm a weirdo wanting to buy house cleaning stuff, but we have all tile on the first floor and it is a pain in the butt to clean. So we went and bought my new toy and a few decorations for Thanksgiving. I am such a housewife LOL. I love it though! So of course we came home and I had to try it out, Sunday is my house cleaning day anyway. Jacob watched football and was VERY disappointed in the Broncos. They even took the game of tv down here to show another game. The rest of the day we just lounged around and laid on the couch together. I'm glad that he didn't have too many calls this weekend. It was nice just to relax together.

They just keep rollin in!
Holy cow! I have been applying for a lot of jobs lately, but I am not doing anything different from the last few months. Of course now that I am in a salon I like I keep getting calls for interviews. Where were these people a few months ago when I was seriously looking? LOL I am not turning down any interviews, I love doing nails, but anything to better my career or even broaden my experience is great. Well, I shouldn't say I'm not turning down any, I am making sure they fit what I am looking for. I had 2 interview offers for today, but one was too far away and the other the hours just weren't going to work for me. So tomorrow I have two job interviews at companies that I would love to work for. So we will see what happens :)
We didn't do much for Halloween last night, just watched Ghost Hunters live, which was actually a little boring. Its much more fun to watch their edited shows, there's a lot more excitement.
We did talk to our landlord and we decided to stay in our house. They will be selling it when we move out, so we have been talking about the possibility of buying it. We will see when the time comes, there are a few downfalls to this house. Nothing bad, but having a two story house in AZ in the summer kicks your butt in utilities. The other downfall is the way our house sits our pool gets all the dirt blown into it during monsoon season. That is the time you want to use your pool the most! We are also pretty fond of the pebble tech pools and like the saltwater based pool better than the chlorine. We have some time to think about it.
