The silent treatment

Well, I have to say this last weekend was pretty peaceful. Jacob was on call and was out most of the day on Saturday. That gave me some time to do a little research on some Christmas presents for him. We went out that night and bought a few things that we need for the wedding. Jacob also picked out a few Christmas ornaments for our first Christmas together. I was wondering what he was searching the store for, but he kept saying it was a surprise. We came back home, ordered some pizza and he watched a movie while I was sleeping. I really didn't want to watch the scary movie he got :) Sunday morning we were woke up by his on call phone. I decided to go along so that we could spend a little time together. The call was in N Phoenix, it takes us longer to drive there then for him to fix the problem. While he was in the house I called my Dad. He was all excited about the decorating he has done for the wedding. I requested a lot of white lights in the backyard, and he has been busy at work! We also talked about how we were going to set things up. The plan is to eat outside, but the concern is that it may be a little chilly. So people, bring your coats! Everyone seems to think, oh its Arizona, it will be warm. Not so much after the sun goes down! We are still trying to figure out if everyone will want to stay at my parents for the New Years celebration or not, but I guess we will find out. Apparently my Mom is not only giving me the silent treatment, but also my Dad. This I don't understand.... Then again I rarely understand where her thinking comes from. She is still mad at the incident we had over the phone a few days ago. I wish I could've recorded it so she could hear she was the one yelling at me and then hung up on me. I'm not taking the blame for this one, I always have to and I'm tired of her not taking responsibility for anything. I just feel bad for my Dad, he didn't do anything wrong. Well, then again, this is why my weekend was peaceful :)
