2 Weeks old

Its hard to believe that 2 weeks have flow by so quickly. We have had a few rough nights, but I think its because Nadia is going through a growth spurt. Last night I tried to cluster feed her before putting her to bed and it seemed to really help. So this will be the new routine, at least for now. She is such a strong girl. Everyone that she meets cant believe how much she moves her head around and how strong her neck is. I guess I don't know any different because this is how she always has been, but it amazes everyone. She moves around a LOT and I have to really watch her, she even tries to roll over. She also loves to suck. In the womb she would suck on her hand but we are trying to keep her from doing that and give her the nuk instead. Although I have to admit, if she would just suck on her hand then she could self soothe and we wouldn't constantly have to give her the pacifier. The Dr said it's much easier to break the pacifier habit than the sucking on the hand so thats why we are trying it. Not much else new to report. She did lose her umbilical stub 2 days ago so we can finally give her a real bath.

Jacob is at home with us today. The poor guys work van broke down yesterday and the spare van is also in the shop, so he got to stay home with us. Its nice to get to spend some time with him. I tried to take a nap since he was home but of course I couldn't fall asleep.
