Gotta love Arizona

Things are falling into place again for us! I am so excited to say that my nail license came in this weekend. My problem was deciding which salon to choose from. Both offer different things, so it was a tough decison. I have decided to go with True Essence for now. There I can do nails and mani pedis. The prices aren't as high as the other salon, so that means I make less money per client, but I'm going to give it a try. The other salon is Avante, which will be in an outdoor mall next to the Coach store. They are supposed to open the end of this month. They are a Medi Spa, which means very high prices and only Mani Pedis. If my first choice doesn't work out I can always change my mind.

Friday night we went to the Rockies Diamondbacks game here at Chase field with our friends Justin and Lisa. Jacob knows Justin from the Springs. We brought the camera, but I forgot to put the battery in. So the picture of us is courtesy of my camera phone. This is why you gotta love Arizona. Its mid October and I was wearing my Dbacks tank top to the game. (Sorry, I have NO Rockies stuff)We didn't get home until about 1, but we had a lot of fun. We were watching game 3 in Denver last night, man are we going to love this winter here!!! Those poor people had to be freezing their asses off.

Saturday we ran around, had to go pick up my car from Land Rover. We wanted to eat at a great place called Oreganos but there was no parking, so we headed to the Cracker Barrel. Jacob loves their breakfast. We also went down to Club Tattoo and met the artist who will be doing our tattoos next weekend. I'm pretty excited, and you know Jacob is! We are excited because Club Tattoo is a really great shop, owned by Chester from Lincoln park, so we are confident in the people they have working there. That night we watched Death Proof, and it was pretty good. Normal Tarantino movie, love him!

This next Friday my friend Jamie is coming in from Colorado. I'm pretty excited to see her. She is such an upbeat person, I love her to death. We have been friends for something like 13 years. I have to say, she is one woman I look up to. She is very driven and has accomplished a lot. Any woman that is a Marine has my upmost respect!
