OOooohh

Poor Jacob has been working so much lately, I feel bad for him. Although his job is not as hard on his physical body as his last the hours are still long. He is also on call an average of half the week. Last weekend he had to go out Friday night, Sat morning and pretty much all day Sunday.

One of my best friends came to visit this last weekend and we had so much fun. I miss her a ton. Jamie is one of those happy go lucky friends that you can't help to have fun with no matter what you do. Friday I went and picked her up at the airport and we went down to Mill for some lunch. The problem... I was driving Jacobs truck and it was VERY hard to find a parking spot, but I managed it. I only ran over something when we were leaving LOL. After we had lunch at Gordon Bierch we went to the Hooters balcony and enjoyed the nice weather. Then it was time to find her a hotel, her man was coming up from Tucson to meet up with her. Saturday Jacob and I went to breakfast, but he had a call so we had to run out early. We also had tattoo appointments at 3 that day. Anyone who knows Jacob knows how much he loves his tattoos :) I was afraid we wouldn't make the appointment but we just barely did. After that we met up with Jamie and John down at Macayos on Mill, then headed to Hooters for the UFC fight. Once that was over poor Jacob had to deal with being around a bunch of drunks. Poor guy, I hardly ever get like that, but when I do I'm a little loud, think everything is funny and want to dance, dance, dance. He was great and I have to say that I am SOO proud of him for not drinking. We went to Tavern on Mill and Jamie and I danced I had so much fun with her. Jacob took them to their hotel and we headed home and Jacob felt the need to video tape me laughing in hysterics sitting on the floor with the dogs. I do NOT wish to drink that much anytime soon. I was ill all Sunday. I didn't feel like I had that much, but my body did! On a good note, despite all the drinking and empty calories I am still managing to lose some weight. So I'm excited about that.

Jacob helped me move into my new salon on Monday and hang my shelves. I have a hard time making decisions so the salons that I talked about in my last blog are not the ones I ended up picking. I over analyze everything! I drive myself nuts to be honest with you! I really like the salon that I picked though and I can run my own business, which is what I'm used to. I'm pretty excited and its only 10 minutes away from the house.

This weekend we were invited to go down to Tombstone with Justin and Lisa, but its homecoming here so I am hoping to be able to get some clients. It may ust be a laid back weekend, which is what Jacob needs really.
