Ahhh the weekend

The meeting with landlord and realtor Friday just irritated me. They sprung a few things on us that I am peeved at. Since we had agreed to stay in the house until they found new renters they gave us the impression we would be getting our deposit back. Oh no, they want to retain our deposit, charge an extra $250 for hiring their realtor, and want us to stay until the house rents. I'm sorry, is it just me with my pregnancy hormones screaming through me, or does this seem not kosher? Granted, in most cases if you break your lease you lose your deposit, but how many renters are willing to stay until the house is re-rented? So, my feeling are, if they want to keep our deposit because we are breaking our lease, then we are free to move when we would like. I requested a copy of our lease from them this morning and got a conference call from them basically freaking out because they are afraid we are going to leave before its rented. Well, then they should've stuck with the deal they made with us in the first place. We have been nothing but good renters, which they keep saying, in fact they want to keep us in the house, but aren't willing to drop the rent down to where it should be. Business is business and we need to protect ourselves as much as they are trying to protect themselves. I have really had to fight the urge to call them and tell them all of this, but Jacob has convinced me to wait until we are telling them we will be moving. I know thats the best, but I'm so angry at them!

Friday night I slept horribly, I was so sick all night and most of Saturday. Jacob is on call this weekend and had to go out on a few Saturday. When he came home we went grocery shopping. When we came home I noticed I was bleeding, again. I can't help but wonder if that had anything to do with how sick I was feeling. We laid around the rest of the night and watched movies. I am so glad that we love spending so much time together. This morning we woke up and drove to some houses to check out the neighborhood before we call a realtor to show us the houses. There were a few we liked and may go look at a couple this afternoon. My parents are on thier way up to our house now to brings gifts of food LOL My mom wanted to know everything that sounded good to me, so she could bring it. She wanted to go so far as to make a ham and turkey, but honestly it makes me ill thinking about it!!
