Holy Hormones

This weekend has actually been pretty good. Minus the crying spell I had in Walmart, talk about embarrassing. Apparently I just needed a good cry, because I feel much better since then, but did it have to be triggered in Walmart! LOL. Of course I'm sure it helped that we also picked up a lot of things for Nadia this weekend. After trips to Babies R Us and IKEA we got some pretty cute stuff. We weren't going to get a changing table but we saw one for a good price that would give us the extra storage we wanted so we went ahead and got it. We also picked out changing pad covers, a crib skirt, closet organizer, rug, hamper, diaper stacker, and storage bins. I'm sure I am leaving something out, but I am pretty excited to finally start getting the room together. I also must have done 4 loads of laundry to get everything all ready to be able to use. I did get the special baby detergent, but I forgot the fabric softener. So I guess you could say I have been pre-occupied with baby stuff all weekend. It is going to take FOREVER for her to get here!!!

Tomorrow I plan on signing up for school. I am going to try to start Tuesday, but if that doesn't work I will start next Monday. I also have a Dr's appointment tomorrow. They are going to do my glucose test, ultrasound and 3D ultrasound. I am SO excited! I hope that we get some good pictures of her because I am dying to see what she looks like. From the last ultrasound I thought she had mostly Jacobs features, so it will be interesting to see. Jacob is going to go with me for this one which I am excited about because he had to miss the last one. I'm not looking forward to the glucose test, but hopefully the drink I have to gulp down won't be too disgusting. They said that I don't have to fast, but that I should not eat a lot of sugar so that I will get proper results. I would hate to fail this one and have to go back for the three hour test. I am also going to ask how early they will induce, if they have any pediatricians they recommend and if I can get my breast pump through my insurance. I told Jacob to remember all of my questions since I most likely will not :)

Here are a few updated pictures of Nadia's room. The pack and play will go in our room of course so it looks a little crowded now. Jacob won't let me put it in our room yet LOL.

Everything looks so cute!! Good quesions to ask tomorrow. I think that the induction one is very important. Good luck with the diabetes test. I hope you pass. PLEASE post pics of the ultrasound as soon as you can! I am dying here in anticipation!!!!
