Todays cravings

I think my morning sickness is starting to fade. While I did have a bad day all day Friday, I have felt good since. I felt horrible because I was looking forward to going out with everyone Friday night, but I had to send Jacob by himself. He did come home bearing gifts of food :) As I said, everyday I want something different. Today, it was crab cakes. I have a hard time finding anywhere that doesn't make them with onions, but when my friend Jamie was out here last summer I found them at Gordon Biersch. MMMMMMmmmmm. Soooo good. So today when Jacob got off work we headed out for some yummy food. He is on call tonight and got a few calls when we were on our way home. We did get a chance to drive by our new house though. We are SO excited to move. What I am most excited about is the big garden tub that is in the master bath. I can't wait to just relax in a nice bath. I had a few clients to do today so I went in to the salon for a few hours. I was going to go get my blood work done, but it is first come first serve and there was a waiting room FULL of old people. I decided I was already hungry and waiting that long wasn't an option. I will try again earlier in the day sometime soon. I also changed my next doctors appt to Friday so Jacob can go along. We were looking at nursery stuff last night. It seems like forever until we find out what we are having. Although, I think it is going to be a boy. We have a few names picked out already.

On a sad note, Dax has an owie. Jacob gave him a haircut (so that he can pass as a lab mix) LOL Well Dax moved while Jacob was trimming his tail and he got a bald spot on his tail. It must be irritating him pretty badly because he has now licked it raw no matter what we do to stop it. Needless to say, we have not been getting much sleep due to his gross licking noises. Anyone that knows Dax, knows what I am talking about. We get pretty frustrated at him during the night and this scares me. How the heck are we going to handle a baby waking up every two hours! Oh man, we are so in for it!

Trust me you have never experienced sleep deprivation like you do with a newborn. It is awful! Glad you are feeling better. What names do you guys have picked out? It does feel like forever before you get to know the sex. It is so exciting to find out!
