I can't believe how busy I have been. I anticipated this would happen, but I didn't know that I would be fortunate enough to have so many buyers leads. I am really hoping that things will continue to stay busy.
Wednesday I took out another buyer and while we were in a house the police barged in on us! It just so happens that my client showed up on a Harley and there has been a man "staying" at the house that drives the same thing. My poor client was questioned by the cops and I had to give them my business card. It was quite an experience LOL. Thank God I had a business card to give!
Thursday I went out to Coolidge to show a man one of our properties and a few others. He was the cutest little old man. We looked at a few houses, he wants to pay cash for one, which is easy to do when they are priced at 60K! Afterwards I stopped by another house in Queen Creek to take a look at for a guy that lives in Ohio, he wants to purchase a house out here and may do so sight unseen. It makes me nervous having someone put all their trust in me when it is such a large purchase.
Friday I had to finish up some items that had to be put on the back burner for clients. At 330 I went and met one of my clients for her home inspection. Everything went well, so it looks like I am pretty close to closing my first deal out here. It feels awesome! It takes a while to rebuild after going through so many life changing things but I feel like it was a blessing for us to move out here. We both have better jobs than we would in the Springs, lets face it, things are looking pretty grim there. We can buy our dream house, and we can afford it. We are in a good place and both of us have worked hard to get here.
Since I am on the go so much I really need a phone that has more capabilities. I went in thinking I would get a Blackberry or Palm since they are compatible with the ARMLS key that I need to enter houses. I just fell in love with the Instinct though. I love it! I can send picture texts, which you can't do on other PDA's. It has turn by turn navigation which I need dearly! Jacob also got the Instinct, we spent most of the night playing with our new phones.
Saturday morning we had to wake up bright and early to go to Scottsdale for Nadia to have her pictures taken. She is such a cutie, but I don't think the lady realized how advanced Nadia is. She can sit up and loves to stand, her latest thing has been saying Mama. Oh it melts my heart, I know she doesn't know what she is saying, but it is adorable. The pictures should be on the website soon. I will post the link once they are. Afterwards we went to breakfast and our waiter was so nice that he bought us breakfast as a "congratulations". We left him a very nice tip which of course he didn't want to take. Then we did a little shopping and came home. We played Rock Band and had a few drinks, it was a good day.
Sunday I let Jacob sleep in and then we started on cleaning the house. It is so hard when you both work a lot. Thankfully Jacob always helps and we can get things done pretty fast. We had a lot to do yesterday though and it took up a good part of the day. Afterwards I made dinner and we relaxed. Seems like the days are just flying by. I want it to slow down!! I don't want to miss one minute of Nadia growing up.
