Both of us have been sick this weekend. Mine of course is just normal pregnancy sickness, mostly I'm just nauseous. Jacob would also say that I am irritable :) I'm trying to keep a handle on it, but I can tell that I am short fused. Our computers have been acting up and I can't help but yell at them LOL. Better than yelling at a person right! Poor Jacob has cold/flu symptoms and is on call this weekend. I have been doing my best to take care of him, making him lots of soup and keeping him medicated.
I spoke with Laura (the lady that I was supposed to start working for tomorrow) and she thanked me for being honest with her about the pregnancy. She wanted to know if I planned on going back to work after the baby comes and if so how long would I need off after the baby comes. Honestly, because this is our first baby, I have no clue. Who wouldn't want to stay home with their new baby! Being that it is a small office that handles a large amount of business and she would be the one having to cover for me during everything we both agreed it would only be fair to her to hire someone else. I was so torn with this decision because I know we need the money badly. I also have had some slight cramping and light bleeding this weekend, which scares us. So a full time job may be too much for me to take on. I never thought to look on craigslist for a job but Laura suggested I check it out. She also said that after I do have the baby and am ready for work to contact her. I looked on craigslist and there were quite a few part time jobs, even in the real estate field, which is my forte. So I will keep looking and hopefully something will come through that I feel won't be too stressful. Jacob is such a great guy, he supports my decisions, no matter what they are.
