We woke up early yesterday to drop off Jacobs work truck to get an oil change. On the way there I called my friend Corre and talked to her for a while. They are getting pretty excited about their upcoming wedding. Once I got to Jacobs work I let her go. He jumped into my car and we went to breakfast at The Egg and I. Since we don't live that close to it anymore it was a nice treat. There actually aren't a lot of restaurants near us besides fast food (yuck). Jacob was fixing some plumbing issues in my Dads pool pump so once we were done with breakfast we had to make a few calls to find the parts he needed. Thankfully there was a place on our way to my parents house. We got down there at about 930 and Jacob was hard at work. I love to watch and my Dad is always interested how things are done, so he had a lot of company. I'm sure he could've done without it :) He finished up at about noon and we waited an hour or so for everything to dry to test it out. Of course everything was fine! My dad made us lunch and I was getting pretty tired.

We had tickets to see Craig Gass at a comedy club in Tempe, so I wanted to get home to take a nap. We headed home and jumped into bed. Thankfully I woke up at 6 on my own and woke Jacob up. We got ready and headed down to Mill. Apparently the act we were seeing was "too dirty" to place at the Improv so this was a smaller place kinda off Mill. I was actually relived. I was worried about parking. We got there at about 720 picked up our tickets at the door and headed in. It wasn't too packed yet so we had a pretty good pick at where we wanted to sit. Turns out once the room filled in we had pretty good seats. The first 2 acts were pretty funny, the third, not so much, but he was only up there about 10 minutes. Finally Craig Gass came on and was pretty entertaining. We had a great time and it was nice to get out just the two of us. I did leave with a pretty bad headache, but thats normal these days! I was STARVING by the time the show let out at 10. All I wanted was cereal, so home we went :)
