Oh how I hate making decisions!! I really need to get a handle on this so I don't pass this on to our kid. I have been researching and researching trying to find the perfect car. I thought I did this with my Land Rover, but obviously not enough. I'm sorry but the damn thing is so uncomfortable to ride in for long periods of time. Some may call this a "firm" seat, I call it "ass numbing". If you ask me what I don't like about my Land Rover I really can't make a long list of items. I was put to the test when Jacobs friend Mike rode in it for a short time. When we told him we were thinking of getting rid of it he asked what we didn't like. He asked "Is it too slow? Too small? Not running well? Gas mileage?" To which I answered "No, its pretty fast. It is kinda small. It runs fairly well (except I'm afraid my cooling system is about to go out) Gets good gas mileage. But my butt hurts!" Now keep in mind, if you drive anywhere here in AZ you need to plan on being in the car awhile. There isn't a "short" drive to anything really.
I started looking into cars and had a good few that were in my top list. Then I got to thinking..... We take the dogs down to my parents house a lot so we don't have to worry about getting home at a certain time. When the baby comes and there is a car seat in the back where is Dax gonna go?? My vehicle is going to be our only vehicle for a while. Well crap! There goes the car idea. So I start over looking at smaller SUV's. I get on consumer reports and see whats the best of the best and in the price range we want to stay in. We want to get something that is 06 or 07. My Dad keeps saying why don't you get a Kia. I just can't do it. This may sound bad, but I have to get something as nice as my Land Rover for me to be able to give it up. Does that make any sense? As I said before, I want something that has a good standard warranty too. So, I am working on narrowing things down, but what I am not looking forward to is going to test drive these vehicles. I HATE car dealers!! Jacob keeps trying to talk me into looking at the Dodge Magnum. It is basically a Charger but the station wagon version. A station wagon?? I might as well get a mini van! Yikes! I'm ready to be a mom but not that ready LOL I may have to humor him and drive one, if I end up liking it I will never hear the end of it!
