Can't fight this feeling

I have to say that lately I have been in such a good mood. I'm sure you can tell by the less negative posts LOL I'm just hoping that maybe these pregnancy hormones have calmed down a bit. Of course I'm not under quite as much stress either. I think looking for the second job was really taking a toll on me. About a month ago Jacob suggested that I just not worry about it and concentrate on making a baby and doing nails :) I made pretty good money in the salon this month and I'm sure that has something to do with my good mood as well.

Jacob was doing tile work at his friends house Thursday and Friday since work was slow, so we didn't see each other that much. He didn't get home until 9 both nights. Although Thursday we did go down to my parents in the morning for Howie to get groomed and to swim. By Friday we were missing each other so bad it was pathetic! I suppose this is a good thing LOL Friday I had a busy day at work. I LOVE that it as crazy as that may seem, but it brings me back to the good ole days of having a full clientele. Jacob and I got off at about the same time so I headed home and picked him up so we could go get something to eat. I had been craving a martini SO bad! Since I have been really good about not drinking I decided to go ahead and have one, with my meal, so it wouldn't hit baby as much. It was awesome! LOL I felt a little weird doing it though. When we got home we watched Mr. Woodcock.

Saturday I woke up to get ready for our garage sale. The majority of what we were putting out there was furniture so I had to wake Jacob up to help me get it out there. Again, doing things I shouldn't have been doing. We managed to get the couch and chair outside along with a bakers rack, side table, coffee table and fish tank. It was supposed to start at 6, but we got everything out there by about 8:30 and before we even got everything set up the couch and chair were bought. Score! That was the main thing we wanted to sell since we are picking up our new ones today. I had also advertised everything on craigslist. The community garage sale only lasted until 12 so we didn't have to stay out there long, besides the weather was gorgeous! At first I think Jacob was apprehensive about being out there, he said he had never had a garage sale before, but in no time he was fine. Off I went to the bank, starbucks, and to get us breakfast. When I got back Jacob had Dax sitting with him out front and of course he was getting more attention than anything we were selling! Time went fast and we sold almost everything. I have someone coming by today that is supposed to buy the fish tank, so if that happens we are in good shape! I loved that fish tank but its too much to take care of. Pregnant women are not supposed to clean them and Jacob admits he doesn't know much about taking care of them. We made some pretty good cash, so we are happy about that.

On another note.... I went into work Friday morning to find my nail desk was open. Someone had shimmied my lock and broke into it. I was NOT a happy camper about this! Nothing was taken, but my expensive glue was glued to one of my drawers. My friend Lori at the salon just bought a new nail desk so she is going to let me use hers, or buy it if I want. We are going to pick it up today too. It is a little more sturdy and not something that you can break into. I don't care if people need to use something of mine, but don't break my stuff!!
