Nice and warm

Easter ended up turning out pretty good. We went to my parents around noon and I helped my Dad cook the food. I made deviled eggs to bring over and I also made a dip we could snack on before dinner. My brother came over a hung out for quite a long time before heading over to his in-laws, so we got to have a nice visit. We went swimming and enjoyed the nice weather. My parents friend Helga also came over and she is always fun to talk to. She was asking about the baby and we broke the news at dinner that we think Colorado is a better place to raise kids. We hadn't really touched on this subject yet with my parents. She asked why we felt that way and my Dad actually chimed in saying Colorado was ranked number one state for health. I told them it wouldn't be anytime soon and Helga insists that once we are here a few more years we won't want to go back. I told her that there is quite a bit of family back there and we want our kids to know everyone. I also said, now if we could get a group of them to move down here we might stay. Hint, hint :) The reality is, we want to end up back in Colorado because of the people we miss there more than anything.

We took the dogs down with us and of course everyone always is amazed at Dax. We were thinking of going to San Diego for a little babymoon :) this weekend, but my brother is going to Disneyland and he would be the one we would ask to watch Dax. So it looks like we will need to hold off for a few weeks until Jacob's schedule can allow it. There is also a community garage sale going on this weekend and we have a few big items that we would like to put in it. We are getting new couches so it would be nice if we could sell ours. So I need to start getting stuff ready for that.

I have a few clients to do this morning and then I go to my Dr.'s appointment with my new doctor this afternoon. Jacob is able to get off work early to come with me. I am pretty excited about meeting the new Dr.'s there. I really hope that I like them!
