Crazy day

Good thing I woke up in a good mood this morning! It seems that most days I am pretty happy (thank god the moodiness has calmed down some) but I do have days here and there, yesterday being one of them. I was just grumpy, we had a lot of running around to do and I'm sure I wasn't the most fun to be around. Thankfully Jacob is a very sweet, understanding man :) We took his truck in to be detailed and cleaned, it cost quite a bit of money and a LOT of time, but it really needed it. The sad part is, now we are really going to have a hard time selling it! We are both pretty sad. I feel bad for Jacob that he has to give up his truck with only one more year to pay on it. Again, thankfully he is very kind and understanding, he insists that it is for the best right now. I know it breaks his heart though. Poor guy. The more I think about it the worse I feel.....

My parents came over last night for dinner. I had a TON of lasagna and cake left over. They haven't been over since we got our new furniture and done the babies room so they were pretty excited to see everything. It was a pretty good night. After they left we laid in bed and watched Walk Hard. It got boring pretty early on :) The night before we watched Gone Baby Gone, which was a pretty good movie.

This morning we woke up and I made breakfast. This is where I am thankful I was in a good mood LOL The pancakes, eggs and hash browns all turned out ok, but I forgot that turkey bacon doesn't need to cook that long since there is hardly any fat in it. Needless to say, the house smelt of burnt bacon. Yes, this would be enough to really tick me off on a bad day, but today I just took it out and made a new batch. Then we had to take Jacob's work truck to the shop to be worked on. I took the dogs with me and followed Jacob up there. Dax was jumping around so much that he broke a toe nail off. I was so scared he was going to start bleeding everywhere, but he was ok. We got to the shop and the guy who was supposed to work on it wasn't there. His boss told him just to leave his truck there, so we headed back home. 10 minutes later we get a call to go pick the truck back up, the guy isn't gonna work on it today. If you don't know this, I HATE backtracking. We turned around, drove back to his work to find the guy that was supposed to work on it there. He decided just to pick it up anyway, the guy can work on it a different day. Jacobs main motivation, the Nuggets are playing and he didn't want to have to go back later to get it :) We headed back home. I beat Jacob there (because he missed our exit) to find out that I had locked us out of the house. My entire purse dumped out in Jacobs truck yesterday when I was driving it back from being detailed so I was hoping that in the mess that was my purse the keys were in there. No luck. Jacob finally got home and tried the back door, but of course I had locked it. Thankfully I remembered that our bedroom window was unlocked. After getting the screen off Jacob was able to climb in and unlock the door. I really hope that is all that is going to go wrong today, because through this all, I am still in a good mood LOL Who knows how much more I can take though!
