Nachos

Nachos have been my latest addiction. We went out late Thursday night to fill my craving and again Friday. Although I do have to say that the nachos at Old Chicago's were much better :) Friday night we didn't do much except play on the computer. I had a HORRIBLE night of sleep though, not to mention Jacob's thrashing around in bed. Finally I got up and went into the guest room. I couldn't wake him up to make him move!

Saturday we woke up and I was so ready to go get some breakfast. Turns out I slept until 9 (late for me) and by the time we got to the only Village Inn we know of around it was packed. Forget that! Make a pregnant lady wait when shes starving? LOL We ended up at the Native New Yorker across the street and it was pretty good. Village Inn is not my favorite so I'm glad we have found somewhere that serves all kinds of food. We are still learning our way around this area of town, so its exciting to find new places we like. After breakfast we picked up the dogs and went to my parents to hang out by the pool. My brother was there with his two kids, which always makes it more entertaining. They were playing with their water guns and sure enough not soon after I was out there sunning I was drenched LOL. Jacob spent a lot of time playing with the kids in the pool, he has so much patience. He is going to be a great Dad! My Mom wasn't outside much. She seems to always stay inside doing all kinds of stuff and then when we are ready to go she decides to come out and is disappointed we are leaving already. I told her, we have been here 4 hours, what were you doing? It's hard because we need the weekends to get our stuff done to. We have yard work, housework, grocery shopping, all the normal things people do on the weekends. She said well can't you convince Jacob to stay longer? It's not him, it's that we have other things to do. Then she tells me Well, you don't know how much longer I am going to be alive you know. I'm sorry, maybe it's just me but I hate guilt trips, we MOVED out here to be closer to her and we see them a lot. I told her it wasn't healthy to be putting a guilt trip on me. I know her health isn't the best but people really should not say those things to other people. Her and I have a rocky relationship and when she starts drinking I just want to get the hell out of there! So off we went, back home, to do what we needed to do.

Today I want to go pick out some paint for the nursery. We are going to buy our crib here soon. So exciting! We also need to get some food in the house! Then it will probably be lots of yard work. We need to spray the outside of the house for spiders too. We spotted one by our master bedroom door to the patio and it looked pretty nasty. We don't want to get bit or have the dogs get bit. Jacob will have to do the spraying since I'm sure I need to stay away from those chemicals!
