Good Food

Tuesday night we met up with Jacobs friend Mike, he was in town for a few days on business. We wanted to go to Oregano's for dinner but he was staying at the Hyatt in downtown Phoenix and by the time we would have gotten there it would've been packed. So we met him at his hotel and took a look at the choices that we had. He asked the concierge for a few recommendations but it seemed the best restaurants were booked out 6 weeks! We found a place we thought looked good, and I'm SO glad we decided to drive :) It wasn't that far, but far enough for a pregnant lady wearing heels to not want to walk to. The place was o.k. but the company was great. We had a wonderful time and it made us realize, once again, how much we miss our friends in Colorado. At least we have a few weddings to attend in the Springs this summer. The tough choice will be to decide which ones we will be able to attend. We would love to be able to go to all of them, but with Jacobs on call schedule, it's not likely. Hopefully people will be understanding. Everyone asks if I will have a baby shower when we are up there, so we will see if that works out too. No one is volunteering to throw it though LOL.

I worked Thursday and Jacob ended up getting off early. We decided that we wanted to take a trip up to IKEA. We had never been there, but everyone was telling us about it. 2 hours later we felt like we barely saw the whole store. We did find a bunch of baby stuff that we want from there. So once we get a little extra money, we know where we will be heading!

This morning I had to be at the salon at 8. I was worried about traffic since I take the highway in to work now, so I left early, and it was fine. Our computer was supposed to be delivered today, so I wanted to get home as soon as I could. Turns out the Fed-Ex guy came, but he didn't have our package. Bummer! I don't know if they deliver on Saturdays or not, but I am hoping that they will. We just can't wait to get a computer that doesn't shut off on us every 10 minutes. Tonight we went to Oregano's early to be sure we could get in on a Friday night. The food was SOO good!! I had been wanting it ever since Tuesday, so I was very excited. I have been fighting a headache all day today, so I have a feeling tonight will be laid back. Besides that, the Nuggets are on :) So we know what Jacob will be watching!
