Our baby was a movin

Yesterday I woke up early and went into work. I only had one person to do, which was nice. I was too excited about our upcoming ultrasound. I came home and picked Jacob up to go grab something to eat. We went to a smoothie place that has great food too. I have just been craving fruit, so I love Jamba Juice and anything like it. We still had a little time to kill so we stopped by Kirklands to do some shopping. I love that store and I always leave with something. We had a gift certificate for there from our wedding. (btw, I haven't forgot to mail thank you cards, just can't find them at the moment. I must have packed them somewhere really good!) We found a lot of stuff that we wanted for the baby room. We decided a while ago that we wanted to do a safari room, whether we have a boy or girl. The problem is we didn't want it to be cartoonish, which is what seemed to be out there. I looked and looked in my purse for my gift card and it wasn't there, so we decided to wait until I could go home and find it. It was time for us to leave anyway to head over to my ultrasound. I love the guy that does them. He even gave us a free disk of pictures this time.

Usually you have to pay for it. We saw the baby pretty good a few times, but it kept moving its little arms and legs! So the picture is a little blurry, but at least we know what we are looking at! The Dr said that the baby looks great and there is nothing to be concerned about. Great news!

When we were done at the Drs we headed over to the mall so I could buy a belly band. I hope this thing works! It is supposed to make it so you can wear your normal pants unbuttoned. Its really a little early to be buying a bunch of maternity clothes. I have a long way to go and I'm gonna get a lot bigger! One thing I am happy about is I can wear a lot of skirts here.

We had been talking about looking into getting rid of both of our cars to just buy one. Since Jacob has a work truck its really hard to justify two car and insurance payments. We started looking a while back and decided that the 4 door Tacoma would fit our needs best. We just hadn't test drove one yet. So off to the dealership we went and we found one that we like, and test drove it. We don't want to make any rash decisions. If I had only gone home first before buying my Land Rover I wouldn't have bought it! Its pretty hard for Jacob to give up his monster truck and it will be paid off in a year. So we have a lot of options to weigh out. Of course they were trying to wheel and deal with us, which I HATE! We told them we were not buying today. Of course they wanted to tell us what they would give us for our trades. Jacobs truck came out fairing pretty well, but my Land Rover, ummm NO they were trying to get us to roll over $10K. We aren't stupid, we know what its worth, when we shot them down they doubled what they would give us for it. We already have financing and they wanted to run our credit. I just hate car dealers, I think that's why I dread buying new cars. So we left without a new car, just as we had planned, and we will think about it for a little bit.

Once we got out of the car dealership, what did I find in my purse? The Kirklands gift card of course! So back we went and got our new baby some things for the nursery. As soon as we got home Jacob was setting things up. I love how excited he is!

I am so glad the ultrasound went well! Isn't it so exciting to see them move! When I looked at your ultrasound pictures I almost started crying because I remember that and they just grow up so fast! Post pics of the baby stuff you got! I want to see it! After you find out the sex its so much fun to go and register for stuff. What names are you guys considering?
