Rollercoaster

Well the last few days have been very interesting to say the least. For the past few weeks we have known that Jacobs work was going to do some layoffs. Work has been pretty slow for them and they have had to downsize drastically. Yesterday he went in to work and they gave him the bad news. It did help that it wasn't a complete shock to us, but still a disappointment. Since he had known this may happen he started looking at other jobs that were out there and actually got a call from another company yesterday afternoon. Today he went in to meet with them and they have offered him the job if he would like it. So at least that is good news. Now he just needs to decide if it is the right company.

I have also been looking at jobs. Since I have been feeling much better and I am seriously burnt out doing nails I wanted to see if there was anything out there I might enjoy doing. The only thing I was worried about was if someone would hire me knowing I was pregnant. I decided to give it a try and what do you know I had two job interviews yesterday. One in real estate and the other in mortgage. Today I accepted the real estate position. I am pretty excited about this! The company knows I am pregnant and is willing to work around that, the pay is good, and I mostly work from home. Could it get any better?? I am still not going to completely get my hopes up until I actually start on Monday LOL.

We had our big ultrasound today. So after all of the running around we did today we went in. We got two really good gender shots. It looks like we are having a girl! We are very excited! We really didn't hope we had one more than the other but for some reason we both thought it was going to be a boy so that is where our mind set was. Guess intuition is not always right LOL Little Nadia was kicking away. We have another ultrasound next month. It will be exciting to see how much she has grown. Now we can complete our safari themed room with accents of pink and purple. I have to say, its wonderful being able to call the baby by her name :)

So all in all it seems that things are looking pretty good for us. So we will just continue to keeps our spirits up and fingers crossed that things keep falling into place!
