The end is near... or the beginning

I got a call from my Dad Monday night. Turns out he was at the hospital with my Mom. She had a Dr's apt earlier in the day for lab work and when she went in they didn't like the shape she was in. Mind you, she is supposed to be on oxygen 24hrs a day, but she tends to like to take it off more than she should. They did a few tests on her at the Drs and decided to call her an ambulance. She was admitted and they have ran tests on her the past few days, which I think have actually looked pretty good. So I have been a regular visitor at the hospital I will soon be delivering at. When ever I am walking down the halls every person I see that works there asks me if I'm doing ok, or if I need anything LOL. I am fine, although I do wish Nadia would come already! My Mom should be released tomorrow and as long as she stays on her oxygen she should be good.

I went to the Dr this morning and my NST came out fine. I then had to wait for an hour for the Dr to come in. They asked if I wanted to see a Nurse Pract. and I said I didn't care but they were scheduling my induction so I didn't know if I needed to see the Dr. She said yes, I did, so I had to wait. The Dr came in, checked me, I'm at 3cm, 70% and station -1. Which means the baby has moved lower into position, which I can tell! I feel a LOT of pressure. She said ok, get dressed and we will schedule you for the first available date to induce. I got dressed and they told me wait in the waiting room. I sat out there for about 30 min before asking them if I could just leave my phone number for them to call me, I needed to get to work. Poor Jacob kept calling and asking if I had heard from them and I didn't have any news to tell him for a few hours. Finally I called them and had to leave a message. I got a call back about 45 min later. I am set to go in Tuesday the 23rd at 7:30. They are going to break my water and see if nature takes its course from there since I am already dilated. So, at least we know that she can come earlier if she wants to but if not she will be here by Tuesday. I have been feeling very crampy and a lot of pressure so I am hoping that she is on her way out and will be here before then!
