Nadias a big girl

I went into work this morning as usual. My Dr apt was at 3 so I left work at 2, got something to eat and drove to the Drs office. My parents met me there since Jacob had to work. We were both disappointed that he had to miss her ultrasound, but its more important that he gets to take some time off once she gets here. She is measuring big, 7lbs 11oz! Of course this is just an estimate and she can weigh as much as 2 pounds less than that in reality. I know she feels that big though! It was so cute, we could see her sucking her thumb. Her little mouth was just going to town. At first her heart rate was a little high, but she settled down some. After my ultrasound I had my apt. I saw a nurse practitioner instead of a Dr today. That was kind of a bummer because she couldn't answer a lot of the questions I had. They did find a little protein in my urine and because I have been swelling now they think I may have slight pre-eclampsia. Although my blood pressure is completely normal. So the news today was that they would not be inducing me for my GD but for pre-e. Geez! So I go in Friday for a Non Stress Test and another appointment. This time I will be seeing the same Dr as last week, so at least she may know whats going on a little more. I am 38 weeks today and they very well may induce me at 39 weeks. At least I only have to wait a few more days to know what is going on. I have never had a NST though, so I am curious as to what that entails. I was dilated to 3cm today, but still at 50% effacement. So I guess I had a little progress. With all the pains I had been feeling I thought sure that it would've changed more, oh well.
