Our first day home
We were released from the hospital yesterday at about 1. We loaded up the car and had our first car ride as a family. Jacob was so nervous driving with his precious baby girl on board, but we made it home just fine. I walked in to the house first to great the dogs. I have never received so much love from them! Jacob followed behind me with Nadia and the boys immediately had to check her out. Dax was very curious and had to sniff every inch of her. Howie gave her a quick check then decided he would rather ignore her LOL. Every time she crys Dax gets very concerned. We called my parents when we got home and told them we were ready for them to come up and bring food. My Mom was very excited. I fed Nadia and went to go take a nap. I slept for about an hour and my parents showed up shortly after. We got them all settled and then went to go lay down. We have had very little rest the past few days. I napped a couple hours and when I woke up dinner was almost ready. Jacob was just too tired to get up so we ate while he slept. Afterwards I got to take a shower, which felt so nice. I am very sore, especially my back, so the hot water felt great. They stuck around for another hour or so and then headed home. Just as they were leaving Jacob woke up. He ate dinner and went to watch Greys Anatomy. I was bummed I had to miss the season premiere, but more bummed when I saw that the DVR didn't record it! We laid in bed and watch t.v. instead and soon after I was asleep. Nadia did great last night. She only made a few little noises and I had to actually wake her up to feed her. Today we are feeling much better after getting some rest. I made us breakfast and we watched a movie. We plan on giving Nadia her first little bath at home so we will post pics later. She also had her first request to be seen from our neighbors. Everyone agrees, she's a pretty girl!
